Summary:
Responsible for being the subject matter expert for wine products and spirits.
This includes actively selling products to customers and providing recommendations based on discussions with the customer.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Works with Wine Manager to set goals and improve wine sales.
Monitors and understands key area business results.
Assist customers and delivers premier customer service.
Describes wine characteristic to customers, including age, region, type and taste description.
Works with suppliers to ensure appropriate product orders are submitted.
Ensure product is stocked and maintains rotation and displays.
Orders product.
Assist in inventory process.
Ensures back room and inventory is organized.

Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Preferred 1-2 years of grocery retail wine experience.
