Prepare donuts, pastries, cookies, cake, bread, pies, icings and more! Must be able to accurately weigh, mix, scoop, shape, cream, combine, proof and coordinate baking schedules for a variety of baked goods throughout shift Willingness to learn and rotate through any bakery station throughout shift, including rolling board, donut fryer, mixing station, oven, etc.
Learn and accurately use VG bakery methods and recipes Follow verbal and written instructions, formulas and schedules to produce consistent results every time Familiarity and competent use of professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, production scale, proofers and dough sheeters Excellent time-management skills Strictly adhere to food safety and sanitization practices Thoroughly clean workstations and equipment Job requirements:
Minimum 2 years baking experience in a commercial kitchen Committed to quality and consistency Reliable and punctual with regular attendance Physical requirements include, frequent walking, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching overhead and ability to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 75 lbs.
