New parents are seeking a nurturing, experienced, live-in nanny to partner with them long term.
Both parents have demanding careers that they love and hope that a live-in nanny can help them balance their careers and parenthood.
Baby boy was born in early February via surrogate and they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible! Dad has older children from a previous marriage (not living in the house), but Mom is a first time parent and wants someone who can help her feel confident as a new mom! Their ideal nanny is warm, engaging, flexible, and dedicated.
Knowledgeable, but deferring to the parents as the decision makers in how to raise their child.
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/German is preferred (but not required) and willing to make a minimum 2 year commitment.
Option to live-in 5 or 7 days a week, nanny will have their own bedroom and bathroom on a separate floor from the main living area.
Must be willing to help with baby overnight for the first few months, total hours worked will not exceed 45 hours per week.
Location:
Cardiff, CA Schedule and Hours:
5 days per week with 2 consecutive days off.
45 hours per week guaranteed.
Exact hours TBD, flexibility with the schedule is preferred.
Rate:
$25-$35 per hour DOE on payroll

Responsibilities:
All duties related to caring for baby such as feeding, diapering, tummy time, going for walks, washing bottles, etc.
Prefer some light household help such as loading/unloading the dishwasher, general tidying, baby's laundry.
As he gets older, engaging in developmentally appropriate play and activities, preparing his meals and snacks, taking him to activities around the neighborhood.
Willing to prepare meals for the family on occasion is preferred.
Prefer someone who is willing to help with night time wake ups/feedings for the first few months.
