Executive Director - Full-Time

As the Executive Director of Belmont Village Cardiff by the Sea you will oversee the operation of our beautiful senior living community including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Qualified candidates must have prior experience as an Executive Director, NHA or equivalent in the healthcare field. RCFE required.

Manages the facility in accordance with the state regulations and company policy, program and budget requirements.
Provides weekly and monthly operations reports to the VP of Operations including updates on any changes in state requirements for standards of care and supervision.
Uses company guidelines and procedures to ensure clear definition of lines of responsibility, equitable workloads, and adequate supervision within the various departments.
Recruits, hires and trains qualified staff as needed to meet service and scheduling requirements.
Builds positive employee relations by applying company policy in a fair and consistent manner.
Carries out disciplinary action up to and including termination for employees with unsatisfactory performance.
Ensures the provision of services to residents with appropriate regard for the residents physical and mental well being and needs as identified in the residents pre-admission and subsequent assessments.
Utilizes company guidelines and procedures to assess and address the needs of residents with visual or auditory deficiencies.
Ensures community services, including transportation, are available to allow residents access to community programs, medical appointments and retail shopping.
Supports sales initiatives by assisting in sales activities as requested, including, but not limited to:
Participating in industry group and community functions.
Networking with local groups to generate awareness for Belmont Village.
Must complete at least 20 clock hours of continuing education per year in areas related to aging and/or administration.
Supervises Department Managers and administrative staff.
CA RCFE license
Minimum three years experience in an Executive Director, NHA, or comparable management level role in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Senior Living or other closely related field.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to elderly residents.
Knowledge of and ability to conform to the applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Ability to manage the facility budget, financial and other confidential records.
5-years supervisory and operations management experience in a service environment.
Minimum two years of college.
Minimum three years management experience providing residential care to the elderly, or, equivalent education and experience as approved by the licensing agency.
Have the personal integrity, physical energy and competence to provide care and supervision to work effectively with social agencies.
Must have successfully completed:
TB skin test or chest x-ray
State fingerprint and FBI background check
Health Screening for this position
Basic First Aid training
Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly training course and be certified as an Administrator
More than 5-years of increasingly responsible operations management experience
College degree (in gerontology or related field)
Hospitality experience
Experience working with senior population
Knowledge of and interest in local communities and events

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
